Mia Aguimatang is a creative and business executive with a background in project management, nonprofit management, marketing, and event operations. She recently earned her B.A. in Journalism (emphasis in Media Studies) and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies through the Weber Honors College at San Diego State University.

Mia is also the founder and executive director of Bridge The Gap, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving Filipino American representation and heritage. Bridge The Gap's mission is to unite past, present, and future generations with their Filipino roots and to work towards bridging generational gaps within the Filipino community. Mia prides herself on her Filipino American identity and aspires to use her professional skills to foster a stronger and more connected community.

Mia is also a professional dancer who has been artistically trained since the age of three. She hopes to continue growing through new learning experiences, using her passions to create positive change in her community and inspire the younger generation to pursue their dreams in the arts and beyond.
